|Recommended: YesGreat Property Questionable parking garage — The property is a very nice property but if you have a standard size car or standard size SUV, you may want to consider renting somewhere else. The parking spaces in the garage are narrow.

|Recommended: NoN a — You can hear absolutely everything and everyone in this apartment building. The amount of people running through the hallways at all hours of the night is absurd. Overall, the move in process was not great. There's frequently trash in the hallways and a mess. There was a puddle in my hallway for over a week that just had a caution sign next to it but wasn't cleaned up.

|Recommended: YesA Nice Place to Live — The Madison is a nice place to live. After living here since Summer of 2017, I can absolutely recommend these apartments. The amenities are nice and occasionally updated. The concierge staff are friendly and remember me by name. The maintenance staff are professional and efficient. The leasing staff are responsive and caring.

|Recommended: YesOverall great place to live — Overall, we really enjoyed living here for three years. We did not like that the smoking policy changed in the middle of our lease, especially when one of the first things we asked is if we are allowed to smoke in the building. We were not pleased that this policy changed especially while dogs and pets can roam freely. After renewing your lease the building will clean your carpets or paint your apartment for free - nice perk to keep things fresh and new. This building is about 30 seconds from the 4B bus stop that takes you to the Courthouse and Rosslyn metros so that was super convenient. Ballston Quarter also recently opened up and it is only a 10-minute walk from the building. However, this is not conveniently close to the Ballston metro as advertised -- it is quite a hike.

We love how close Ballston Quarter is as well and how easy it is to get to from our building. |Recommended: YesRecommended. — Great location in a lovely neighborhood with a short walk to downtown Ballston - food, shopping entertainment access to public transportation. The building is well kept with newer amenities and multiple secure access points good neighbors with plenty of parking in the garage. Staff management courteous accommodating when I toured the location, responsive caring during my lease term - supportive above beyond the requirement during my transition out. If I weren’t leaving the area, I would renew my lease.

|Recommended: YesGreat location, awesome amenities — The pool and grilling area make for a great summer hang out spot. The apartments are beautiful and modern. The only downside is the gym is a little sparse, no bench press squat racks or even smith machine, but for an apartment building gym it's not too bad. Overall though, I am very happy with my new apartment and apartment complex

Once we have a noise complaint on file, we send notices to address the concerns, and continue to follow up based on complaints received. The notices continue to increase in severity based on the number of complaints received. Unfortunately there are times that noise does carry between floors and we want to sincerely apologize for any frustration it has caused. |Recommended: YesLove The Madison, but not upstairs neighbors — I love everything about living at the Madison except for when I head upstairs neighbors. Space between floors ask as a sounding board and amplifies footsteps. Other than that the grounds, the staff, planned activities and proximity to the local attractions make this a wonderful place to live. I certainly recommend it.

|Recommended: YesLove our little place — The Madison is such an amazing place to live Everyone is so friendly and warm I have only had a couple issues with one of the people at the front desk but other than that, we love our little apartment The only other thing is I have been trying to get the measurement of the bedroom window so I can purchase blackout curtains and nobody has gotten back to me.
